9/2/08 New Jersey’s own Governor Corzine has signed into law A-1671 permitting parents/guardians of multiple birth children the right to decide the together or separate placement of their multiples within the classroom. Congratulations to Dorothy Frank for this outcome! Her hard work has ensured that all multiple birth parents have a voice. We are so proud of you!!! June 24th, 2008 New Jersey twins are one step closer to realizing their Twin Law. Bill A1671 has passed in both houses and is now awaiting Governor Corzine’s signature. Please write both the Senate and Assembly Education committee chairmen and ask them to post the bill in committtee.  We need to get it on the agendas of the June 7, 2007 meetings before the summer hiatus.  Otherwise, it will most likely not get enacted by end of year and then we'll have to start all over.   Be sure to include the correct bill number in all correspondence. The area clubs were receptive to the idea to bring back the packages to their area clubs and try to find a member who will write their State Senator. We are hoping to get one member from each club to write their senators.
