We desperately need your help!

Our House "Twins' Bill" was expected to receive a passing vote to move through the House of Representatives, in early December, however it has now been sabotaged.

Representative Thomas A. Tangretti has added an amendment to HB65 that has absolutely nothing to do with twins in the classroom. I have been told that as long as it is attached to our bill, our bill will not move.

We have asked Representative Tangretti to withdraw his amendment, however his has so far refused. We need to do all we can to pressure him to withdraw his amendment, A04755, from our Twins' Bill, HB65.

We need everyone's help persuade Representative Tangretti to withdraw his amendment.

    1. If you live in PA, Contact your own Representative and ask him/her to contact Representative Tangretti and request that Rep. Tangretti withdraw amendment A04755 from HB65.

    2. Everyone (across the US) can contact Representative Tangretti and urge him to withdraw amendment A04755 from HB65.

You can go to http://www.ramotc.org/TwinsLegislationPA.html for more info.

His contact information is :

Also please ask everyone you know to do the same. If you know anyone in Westmoreland County, PA it is imperative that they contact Rep. Tangretti too!

Thank you all so much! I'll keep you posted on our progress.

Great News !

This morning the PA House of Representatives Education Committee voted unanimously to PASS HB 65, allowing the parents of multiples a voice in the placement decision of their children in the classroom.

The bill will move to the House floor for a full legislative vote.

Thanks you so much for your efforts in support of this legislation!

Great News!

The Pennsylvania Senate has introduced SB579, allowing the parents of multiples to have a voice in the placement decisions of their children within the classroom.  The Pennsylvania House of Representatives has introduced HB65 regarding this same issue. Visit http://www.legis.state.pa.us/  and use the "Find Legislation by" box in the upper right-hand corner of the page to view the bill wording.

It is very important that all PA residents contact their legislators and voice their support for this important legislation.  Visit www.ramotc.org to obtain support letters to send to your legislators and to keep informed on the progress of the Pennsylvania legislation.  We need your support to get this bill passed into law in Pennsylvania!
