Home to The National Parental Movement seeking
State to State Legislation mandating
Flexible Placement Policies for multiple birth children
 within the classroom.

What you will find here is the research behind the law,
articles and links to assist you in making
appropriate placement decisions for your multiple birth children, information on all state campaigns and
support should you be facing inflexible placement policies.

What you will not see here,
on television broadcasts or in news articles,
are the horror stories which have spurred
my determination and the determination of families nationwide
to change “across the board” placement policies
which have adversely affected so many multiple birth children.

You will not meet:
-The twins with a happy home life, who have been diagnosed
clinically depressed requiring the care of a psychologist since
 being “forcibly separated”...
-or their principal who continues to believe that his
mandatory separation policy is best for all multiples.

-The families who have been forced to get second jobs to pay
for private education so that they can have a voice in how
their children are placed in classrooms.

-The father who was asked to choose which one of his triplets
would be put into a separate classroom when he found the
school had only two kindergarten classes...
-or their principal who offered to “rotate” the children every few months instead of placing them together.

-The mother whose children’s physician wrote a letter to place
her twins together as the doctor felt the stress of forced
separation in kindergarten would be detrimental the child’s
  underlying medical condition...
-or their principal who responded to the doctors order,
by saying, “He is not an educator. This is why
we have a school nurse & psychologist to “fix” any
           problems that arise”.

These families and more like them have shared their stories with me and though some have consented to being interviewed (but have not yet been)
 others wished to remain anonymous.
ALL wanted you to know
that they and their stories are REAL.

It is on behalf of families like these,
and for those who may someday
 follow in their footsteps,
that I created this website.
